A black march of revolt took place in Lausanne after Adeline's murder. They left the Cantonal Court and marched to the Federal Court. On the steps of the High Court, they repeatedly shouted "Never again." "Lucie, Marie, Adeline, how many more names will have to be added to this list before real action is taken?" Distributed on sheets of paper, this question was also worn by the demonstrators on their clothing. A placard also read: "Our system is criminal." In Geneva, a memorial service was held in front of the City Hall after Adeline's murder.
