The Vetropack group has announced the closure of its Saint-Prex glassworks. This decision will result in the elimination of 180 jobs at the Vaud site. Employees have made their voices heard. From May Day demonstrations to petitions delivered to the Grand Council of Vaud, to strikes outside the production site, they have tried every means possible to preserve this industrial expertise in Switzerland.
