Finally, say many Ticino residents, we are represented in the Federal Council again. For too long, the southern canton has felt politically separated from the rest of Switzerland. This was also evident today in Montagnola, the hometown of Ignazio Cassis. Great emotions and high expectations were palpable on the hilltop villas outside Lugano.
