Sleeping in the streets of Dhaka

Coralie Wenger

Around half of the residents of Dhaka, a metropolis with a population of 15 million, live in slums or don't even have a place to live in one of these slums. Such almost unimaginable circumstances may explain why these people, in particular, manage to withdraw into themselves even in the midst of the densest hustle and bustle and take a nap precisely where they find themselves.
