The Marmorera reservoir supplies electricity to 80,000 households in Zurich. The 60-year-old dam has just been overhauled. Marmorera is also the story of a sunken village. Roland Wermelinger visited the last survivor of the old Marmorera, 89-year-old Serafin Luzio.
