Through extensive research, I was able to illustrate in the Berner Zeitung at the beginning of September how fake news spreads systematically and how problematic this can be. My story was shared over 1,000 times on bernerzeitung.ch alone and featured in German newspapers. A few weeks later, media outlets around the world picked up on the topic of fake news in connection with the US elections.
