On the occasion of Jean-Luc Godard's 91st birthday, I went to Rolle, where he lives, to take a portrait of one of the greatest living filmmakers. Known for being very discreet and giving very few opportunities to the media, I found him leaving a newsstand with a Libération newspaper in his hand. Later, he would let me photograph him a few seconds before he left.
