Yves Auberson, who has suffered from Parkinson's disease since the age of 35, set himself the challenge of walking 1,000 km through the Swiss Alps. A film was made to show his journey. Through this challenge, Yves Auberson partly wanted to demonstrate that sustained physical exertion can alleviate the symptoms of the disease and provide some relief.
