2015 marks a new heat RECORD: according to the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology (MeteoSwiss), this year's average temperature was 1.3 degrees higher than the 1981-2010 period. Pictured is a swimmer diving into the water during a day of leisure.

Pablo Nadir Yahnik Gianinazzi

Fotojournalist, Lugano - Certara, 1983

Born in 1983 in Morges (VD) and raised in Lugano (TI). Awarded several times at the Swiss Press Photo. He worked as the only official photographer of the Giornale del Popolo, collaborating full time with the daily Corriere del Ticino. He was later hired as a photographer at the photo-journalistic agency Ti-Press, a Keystone-SDA partner, cooperating with various national and international newspapers.
