John, born in 1961 of Nigerian origins, the son of a tailor father, arrived in Italy in 2011. Today he repairs the clothes of refugees passing north who stop at the Don Giusto facility, within the Rebbio Reception Project, active on the border between Italy and Switzerland.

Pablo Nadir Yahnik Gianinazzi

Fotojournalist, Lugano - Certara, 1983

Born in 1983 in Morges (VD) and raised in Lugano (TI). Awarded several times at the Swiss Press Photo. He worked as the only official photographer of the Giornale del Popolo, collaborating full time with the daily Corriere del Ticino. He was later hired as a photographer at the photo-journalistic agency Ti-Press, a Keystone-SDA partner, cooperating with various national and international newspapers.
