During the first wave of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in March, I accompanied the nursing staff in the intensive care unit at Bruderholz Hospital (BL) for two 12-hour shifts. I worked a day and a night shift, wearing protective clothing, to document the work of the nursing staff caring for patients seriously ill with COVID-19.
