Daniel Ryser, geboren 1979 in Chur, gelernter Zigarrenverkäufer. Danach Volontär und Redaktor beim St. Galler Tagblatt, ab 2005 WOZ-Redaktor und ab 2010 Reporter für das Tagi-Magi. Seit 2014 zur Hälfte WOZ-Reporter in Zürich sowie Student der Zeitgeschichte und der Osteuropastudien an der Universität Fribourg. Autor verschiedener Bücher, darunter einer Grossreportage über die Zürcher Hooliganszene. 2007 ausgezeichnet mit dem Zürcher Journalistenpreis und 2010 vom Branchenmagazin Schweizer Journalist auf Platz 3 gewählt bei der Wahl zum Journalisten des Jahres.
