I accompanied Jens Tanner* for three years. He was sentenced to therapeutic treatment under Article 59 for pedophilic behavior. During this time, he had his testicles surgically removed and was released after ten years. I met with him and his therapists several times, asking the question: How does a pedophile find his way back to a normal life? And how much can one expect from society?
