Illness is changing the young musician Gian Luca. On 25th July 2016 he sits through a cancer treatment in the hospital park (57); a year earlier he observed the increasing evidence of his affliction in the mirror (60). Gian Luca has leukaemia. Every day he has to take huge amounts of medication; and yet he has still not managed to quit smoking (59). Alongside all this misery, his guitar remains his constant companion.

Eleni Kougionis, geboren 1988, ist eine Schweizer Fotografin, wohnhaft in Münchenstein und besonders im Bereich Portrait- und Dokumentarfotografie tätig. Nach der Lehre als Polygrafin in einer Druckerei und Arbeit in einem Grafikbüro studierte sie Redaktionelle Fotografie am MAZ in Luzern. Im Rahmen dieser Ausbildung absolvierte sie ein Praktikum bei einer Zeitung in Athen. Seit ihrem Abschluss 2015 arbeitet sie als freischaffende Fotografin für diverse Redaktionen, Institutionen sowie Unternehmen und realisiert eigene Projekte. Ihre Arbeiten wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet und in verschiedenen Ausstellungen gezeigt.
