Nine years ago, Alex Pipoz, an architect and tattoo artist from Basel, had a malignant tumor in his foot. An amputation followed. He was determined to skate again with a prosthetic! His friends organized a skate trip early on, and he set this as his goal. Overcoming mental hurdles: Does his foot work on the board? Giving up wasn't an option; his drive actually increased.

Eleni Kougionis ist eine Schweizer Fotografin, spezialisiert auf Porträt- und Dokumentarfotografie. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Polygrafin und Tätigkeit in einem Grafikbüro studierte sie Redaktionelle Fotografie am MAZ in Luzern. Während ihres Studiums absolvierte sie ein Praktikum bei einer Zeitung in Athen. Seit ihrem Abschluss 2015 arbeitet sie als freischaffende Fotografin und verwirklicht eigene Projekte. Ihre Arbeiten wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet und in verschiedenen Ausstellungen gezeigt.
