After a fantastic evening of fighting in the ring at the Wrestling Night at the Grand Casino Basel with Swiss athlete Michelle Green, I took portraits of the fighters. Among them are the evening's winner, Bozilla, with her belt, and Benedikt Schenker, aka Deadsaw, one of the more successful Swiss wrestlers.

Eleni Kougionis ist eine Schweizer Fotografin, spezialisiert auf Porträt- und Dokumentarfotografie. Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Polygrafin und Tätigkeit in einem Grafikbüro studierte sie Redaktionelle Fotografie am MAZ in Luzern. Während ihres Studiums absolvierte sie ein Praktikum bei einer Zeitung in Athen. Seit ihrem Abschluss 2015 arbeitet sie als freischaffende Fotografin und verwirklicht eigene Projekte. Ihre Arbeiten wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet und in verschiedenen Ausstellungen gezeigt.
