In den Schweizer Bergen geboren, wuchs Ephraim Bieri zwischen der Schreinerei seines Vaters und der Schneiderei seines Großvaters auf. Nach einer Berufslehre als Maschinen Mechaniker ist er als selbständiger Fotograf in der Schweiz und im Ausland tätig. Ephraims Interessen bewegen sich zwischen bestimmten Personengruppen und grundsätzlichen Themen der Menschheit und die Interaktionen zwischen den Lebewesen wecken seine Neugierde.
