The Bains des Pâquis bathing establishment on Lake Geneva is both a cultural institution and an oasis of relaxation—a significant achievement for Geneva, a place saved and revitalized by artists. The lakeside resort welcomes around one million visitors annually, and around 7,000 guests daily in the summer. The Bains des Pâquis are not a swimming pool, but an institution.
