The woodcutter and his tree

A double-topped sequoia, about thirty meters tall, was evacuated by air on January 25, 2018, in La Neuveville. Brought back from the United States and planted on a property 40 years ago, this giant conifer was unable to withstand Storm Eleanor. Since the plot was difficult to access, the forestry company Rinaldi & Fils commissioned an Air-Glaciers helicopter to evacuate the double-topped sequoia.
