Philippe Chappuis, also known as Zep, has sold 23 million Titeuf albums. In a referendum held in late November 2025, the residents of Geneva finally approved the purchase. Approximately 52.5% of voters said yes, authorizing the municipality to acquire Villa Zep, located within the vast grounds of the Geneva villa, which also include a vineyard and a section of forest.
