Research: I was able to use an internal document from the Federal Office of Transport to prove that 40 train stations nationwide are facing closure. The reason: the legally required, accessible renovations were too expensive. In a report, I showed the consequences for people in wheelchairs at three stations at risk. The result of the story: the federal government allocated €2 billion for the accessible renovations.
