Scenes from the women’s strike in Lausanne on 14 June 2019. Young people – of all genders – sit on the street proclaiming the consequences of groping them: “Your hand on my butt – My hand in your face”. The latter is written on the reverse side of the banner. Others march fiercely and call for resistance: resistance to the still prevalent gender gap, which has persisted despite the equality law, which came into force in 1996.
