Small hospitals, especially those that offer a wide range of services, are increasingly under financial pressure today. In the case of Affoltern Hospital, there have been several changes in management in recent years. The situation is quite dramatic for the hospital. This was the starting point for investigating the reasons for the difficult situation.

1982 in Schaffhausen geboren. Studium der Germanistik, Publizistik und Philosophie an der Universität Zürich. Erste journalistische Erfahrungen beim Germanistikmagazin Denkbilder und als Volontär bei der Zürichsee-Zeitung. 2007 Eintritt in die Redaktion der Schaffhauser Nachrichten und dort bis 2012 vor allem zuständig für die städtische Politik. Danach Leitung des ersten Bundes der SN und damit verantwortlich für die Ressorts Ausland, Inland, Wirtschaft und Vermischtes. Im Januar 2014 Wechsel ins Ressort Zürich der NZZ, mit Schwerpunkten in der Gesundheitspolitik und der Entwicklung des Zürcher Unterlandes. Daneben auch regelmässig Desk-Chef im Ressort.
