The humanitarian tragedy of the Syrian crisis is unprecedented. Long before refugees arrived at Europe's gates, neighboring countries opened theirs to hundreds of thousands of people fleeing the fighting. Through a three-part report from Jordan, I attempted to document the refugee situation and the work of Swiss NGOs on the ground.

Sara Sahli se lance dans le journalisme en freelance durant ses études en ethnologie, avant d'intégrer la rubrique locale de L'Express en 2010. Elle poursuit sa carrière au sein de l'agence ARPresse, qui fournit les pages Suisse, Monde, Economie et Société de cinq quotidiens. Elle y explore des aspects variés de l'actualité et de la société suisse, tout en élargissant ses horizons au Moyen-Orient. En 2013 et en 2015, elle réalise des reportages au Liban et en Jordanie pour y témoigner de la situation des réfugiés de la guerre en Syrie.
