Investing everything to study in Switzerland, and perhaps stay. Money, time, effort, emotions. In this two-part feature, we tell the story of two foreign university students. One came to Ticino from a village in Uganda with the dream of starting her own NGO. The other came from Eastern Europe, studied, graduated, and found work, but the canton denied her a permit.
