I contracted the virus in November 2020 and developed a persistent inflammatory syndrome with significant joint contractures and abnormal blood clotting. I was 45 years old at the time and fit the "typical profile": an active woman between 40 and 50 years old with no comorbidities or excess weight.

Ethnologue de formation, Stéphanie a vécu à Madagascar et en Chine. Actuellement basée à Genève, elle développe ses reportages photojournalistiques depuis 2016. Elle s’intéresse particulièrement à documenter les constructions d’identité et les mutations sociales dans un contexte de transition ou de dictature. Ses images sont publiées internationalement et elle a notamment obtenu le Prix Nikon de la Révélation Féminine.
