The end of the future

After almost 20 years, the legendary "Zukunft" (Future) club in Zurich's Langstrasse district is being demolished to make way for a new building. Besides electronic music, Zuki regularly hosted live concerts ranging from punk to avant-garde. Film screenings, panel discussions, and readings were also common events. The NZZ am Sonntag magazine even dedicated a cover story to the club.
