After the burka debate flared up in Switzerland in the summer of 2016, we went to Interlaken. Nowhere else in Switzerland can you see more fully veiled women than in the Bernese Oberland tourist metropolis. Photographer Mario Heller and I plucked up the courage to speak to the women and their husbands. We discovered something surprising.
