Geboren und aufgewachsen in Altdorf, Kanton Uri. Nach dem Studienabschluss in Geografie einige Jahre Tätigkeit als Sekundarlehrer. Seit 2013 als Journalist beim Urner Wochenblatt. Abschluss des Diplomlehrgangs Journalismus am MAZ im März 2016.
