A subsidiary of the Migros group, Micarna is one of Switzerland's leading meat processing companies. The company, which rarely opens its Courtepin site in the canton of Fribourg, slaughters and processes 28 million animals each year. These animals are increasingly resistant to antibiotics. Athénaïs Python was able to visit the site.
