The forgotten refugee crisis

Ronald Pizzoferrato

Millions of Venezuelans have already left their crisis-ridden country – young and old, rich and poor. A large number of them are migrating to Colombia. Some live on the streets, some work as smugglers, all live in foreign lands. With my work, I tell their individual stories, which are symptoms of a larger phenomenon: the decline of a state.
