At short notice, one of the subjects canceled the portrait session in his private home, so I spontaneously decided to use Biel train station as the backdrop. The station symbolizes the stress and hectic pace of everyday life, which is characterized by anonymity and could not be more perfectly suited to revealing a shifted sense of time between the generations.

Schon während meiner Lehre als Dekorationsgestalter interessierte ich mich für die Fotografie und besuchte entsprechende Kurse an der Schule für Gestaltung in Basel. Während eines längeren Auslandaufenthaltes 2008 lernte ich einige Fotografen kennen, die in mir abermals die Faszination zur Fotografie weckten. Seither arbeite ich als sogenannter Quereinsteiger und durfte schon einige sehr spannende Reportagen im In- und Ausland umsetzen.
