Scenario: Following an accident at the Mühleberg nuclear power plant, several people have been contaminated by radioactive substances and now require medical care. Doctors and nurses, along with photographers, a radio journalist and cameraman, supervisors, and inspectors – all crammed into the cramped bunker. Capturing the quiet moments amidst this hectic pace was a thrilling challenge.

Schon während meiner Lehre als Dekorationsgestalter interessierte ich mich für die Fotografie und besuchte entsprechende Kurse an der Schule für Gestaltung in Basel. Während eines längeren Auslandaufenthaltes 2008 lernte ich einige Fotografen kennen, die in mir abermals die Faszination zur Fotografie weckten. Seither arbeite ich als sogenannter Quereinsteiger und durfte schon einige sehr spannende Reportagen im In- und Ausland umsetzen.
