There have been once 33 greyhound tracks with a London postcode, now there are none.
Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium has been the final track being used since 1928 in the capital but the venue is set to be demolished as it makes way for AFC Wimbledon's return to Plough Lane. A once popular working class sport comes to an end in London.

In 1994 I started to work as a photographer in a commercial studio in Bern, Switzerland and visited the school of art Bern. After 8 years of studio work and lots of traveling I changed to press photography in 2002 and got a part time job at a local newspaper and had assignments as a freelance photographer for several national newspapers and a sport agency. In 2004 I joined Reuters Switzerland and got 2 years later a staff job. From 2009 till summer 2017 I was a Reuters staff photographer based in London, covering sports, news, features and entertainment. Since September 2017 i am working as a self employed photographer based in Bern, Switzerland.
