After a three-month restoration by metalworker Ueli Schneider, the golden spire, complete with spire ball and time capsule, is back on the church tower of Fahr Monastery. The nuns watched the unveiling of the restored spire and the golden cross on the spire with great interest and are delighted that the weather vane now once again indicates the wind direction.
