The chances of becoming impoverished as a dancer are high. Darius Catana, however, remains committed to ballet. Catana was eleven when he came to Switzerland from Romania – alone. While other children of that age hardly give a thought to their future, Catana had already decided on a career on stage. He is now training to be a stage dancer at the Zurich University of the Arts.
