This is a foray into the monastic world, particularly that of cloistered life, which imposes extremely strict rules. The prioress of the Monastery of Santa Maria sopra Claro recounts—probably for the first time—how the nuns who obey the rule of Saint Benedict, "Pray and work," celebrate Christmas. In a certain sense, it is a unique document.
