Danga is a small village in western Mali, on the border with Guinea, and is the territory of the Magassouba. Their land is full of gold and attracts gold miners from all over the sub-region. This is a good deal for the Magassouba, who have organized a veritable informal town of 6,000 souls: Kokoyo, whose activities they control and tax.
