Which place in Switzerland paints a picture of poverty? Nine percent of the Swiss population is affected by income poverty. These people live as 24-hour caregivers in guest rooms, as welfare recipients in hotels, as refugees in bunkers, as isolated people in the forest. We hardly see poverty because it is not concentrated in one place but permeates society.
