Does the race for renewable energy justify any means necessary? The case of wind turbines in the canton of Fribourg allows us to explore this question. In a very long investigation, without delving into the pro or anti-wind debate, we show how the race for subsidies seemed to take precedence over everything else (opacity to citizens, wind relegated to the background, conflicts of interest).
