People often talk about them, especially in the Emmental: Tamils. But they are rarely spoken to. I wanted to change that. A man who came to the refugee home in Sumiswald as a young Tamil refugee and a young Tamil man born in Switzerland tell their stories. In addition, the then mayor of Sumiswald shares his memories of that time.
