The Double Eagle Affair involving Swiss footballers of Kosovar descent has shown that in Switzerland, people with a migration background are only accepted as long as they meet certain expectations regarding behavior and integration. These expectations vary from milieu to milieu, but even so-called progressive and left-wing circles have clear ideas about what immigrants should be like.
