The planned construction of an oceanarium in the heart of Basel is currently, and was in 2018, one of the most emotional and hotly debated topics in the Basel region. With this report from the "Acquario di Genova," a project comparable to the Basel project, the author was able to provide, for the first time, an insight into what awaits the people of Basel.
