Yet, in the declassified French archives, we have uncovered what only a handful of historians suspected: thousands upon thousands of our children went to fight abroad. One by one, we have told the story of those, forgotten, who did not return.

Of Breton origin, grew up in Payerne in the Broye region. Trained as a historian and archaeologist at the University of Lausanne. Since 2014, he has been a journalist in the Vaud and Regions section of 24heures. Specializing in environmental issues, investigations, and heritage issues. Since 2025, he has been responsible for historical topics for Tamedia's French-speaking titles.
