In 2021, I used the Freedom of Information Act to request documents on the federal government's mask procurement. But the company Emix prevented their release. Only the Federal Supreme Court released them. They showed that Emix offered quality masks – only to then deliver questionable ones at exorbitant prices. And: Emix claimed to have wanted to help in an emergency – but text messages now show that it was all about making a quick profit.
