What does a tropical night in Zurich look like? On one of the hottest nights of the year, we flew over the city with an industrial drone and thermal imaging camera. We wanted to find out where the city heats up particularly during tropical nights, and where it is most severe. The infrared images we obtained impressively demonstrate why and how architecture influences nighttime temperatures.
