Gründer des Schweizer Jugendmagazins «Zündstoff» (2004-2007). Studium der Politikwissenschaften und Geschichte an der Uni Zürich. Promotion in Geschichte an der Uni Basel mit Doktorarbeit zur Steuergeschichte der beiden Basel. Militär: Oberleutnant a.D. Verheiratet, drei Kinder.
