Ich bin ursprünglich gelernter Werbe- und Industriefotograf. Nachdem ich meine Ausbildung im Jahr 1996 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hatte veränderte ich mein Tätigkeitsfeld in Richtung Sportfotografie und arbeite seit 1997 hauptberuflich als Sportfotograf. Dies zunächst bei diversen Sportfotoagenturen, seit Oktober 2013 bin ich fest angestellter Clubfotograf des deutschen Fußball-Bundesligisten Borussia Dortmund.
