The ICRC is facing a heated debate over its ethics and its relationships with private partners. Both internally and externally, many are questioning the relevance of ICRC President Peter Maurer also sitting on the Foundation Board of the Davos Economic Forum. They are also questioning risky partnerships such as those with LafargeHolcim and the Xinhua news agency.

Journaliste au Temps depuis le 1er février 2000, j'ai couvert la politique genevoise et régionale pendant 6 ans. Depuis 2006, je couvre la politique internationale. J'ai été correspondant du Temps à New York de septembre 2011 à novembre 2016. Traducteur de formation, diplômé en relations internationales du Graduate Institute de Genève, j'ai eu envie de faire du journalisme quand je fus confronté, en tant qu'étudiant de l'école de traducteur de Zurich (Dolmetscherschule), à la révolution de velours en Allemagne de l'Est en automne 1989.
