The derby between GC and FC Zurich will take place for the first time in more than two seasons on October 23, 2021. After the game, FC Zurich supporters ran across the Letzigrund tartan track, threw fireworks into the GC section, and attempted to steal the fans' flags. A heated discussion about violence at matches ensued between clubs, fans, police, and politicians.
